Villa Description

Villa is architecturally modernist, inspired by works from the late 50’s/ early 60’s, with the interiors reflecting the best from this period, yet the ambience is entirely 21st century. The interiors have been custom-designed by the owner and combined with European modern classics throughout. All is intended to appeal to the creative senses of our guests, whilst providing the comfort and relaxed atmosphere that our world-travellers will expect.

The 5-bedroom home can be rented entirely, but equally serves as an incredible venue for personalised events, with expansive well-groomed lawns and terraces, which provide the ultimate in outdoor chill & lounge ‘zones’. Additionally, all interior space, being fully air-conditioned throughout, is a superb alternative to the usual alfresco option – indeed a rare concept in Bali. Luna2 particularly delights in throwing cocktail parties for up to 100 guests. It may even become better known for its intimate dining evenings at the chef’s table, with its uninterrupted views of the ocean. It’s quite frankly breath-taking, with the breeze, the sunset and the obligatory ’lunatini’ in hand, along with Executive Chef Danny Drinkwater’s sensational canapés, and ‘lunafood’, it is sure to challenge Bali’s finest dining establishments.

There are 5 bedrooms, all with en suites, and each is provided with TV, DVD player, Bose sound docks and ‘ipods’, as well as wireless internet throughout. Dornbracht and Gessi taps, and the latest Philippe Starck cubic loos furnish each bathroom.

Swipe card access is provided for all guests and staff for increased security. The house has 24-hour security by Securicor guards. It is also equipped with intercom and PABX hotel phone system.

Other services include the in-house Ve-spa funky spa treatments, to totally pamper you – any time, any place, anywhere in the house.

And last, but by no means least, the team is headed by General Manager/ Executive Chef, Danny Drinkwater who was previously Executive Chef of the Park Hyatt Sydney and harbourkitchen&bar .

Food & beverage
We offer a unique dining experience from service delivery, wine-pairing and of course innovative cuisine. The result being that our food entirely reflects the philosophy of Luna2’s approach to design.Villa has two kitchens devoted to preparation and service: the main Yellow kitchen and the Commercial kitchen, fully equipped with Combi ovens, wok burners and other chef’s toys.

Breakfast
Served in the main kitchen, we offer a delightful selection of breads, cereals, fruits, fresh-squeezed juices, coffee & tea, with a choice of a la carte dishes prepared daily by our chefs. Our house-cured smoked salmon & organic eggs Florentine have proven hard to beat!

All day dining
Available throughout the day and consists of fresh, seasonal comfort food, with designer sandwiches, salads & more substantial dishes. These can be served to your room, poolside or wherever you prefer.

Dinner
Complimentary canapés will be served each evening at 6pm. Perfect for sunset cocktails!
Our 3-course dinner menu is changed daily. We offer a choice of starters, main courses and desserts daily.

Staff
Total 23 staff will cater to your needs throughout your stay. At the helm, and directing Villa food & beverage, is our English General Manager / Executive Chef Danny Drinkwater, previously the Executive Chef at the Park Hyatt in Sydney, assisted by 2 Australian chefs; additionally, there is a barman on hand, a butler, several house maids, gardeners, drivers, and a professional team of security staff. We are equipped to cater to small groups, but can just as easily handle special events for up to 100 people.
